The process of acquiring and occupying business premises is complex and fraught with issues for the occupier. From pre-acquisition surveys and leasehold liability assessment, our team of building surveyors will ensure that your risks are identified, controlled and managed appropriately.

It is not only at the pre-acquisition stage that you may need the assistance of our building surveyors. Our team often work on preventative measures to keep buildings in good condition and look for ways to make buildings sustainable. Depending on the terms of your lease it is possible that this would fall under your responsibility throughout the duration of your tenure, and timely, effective management of a buildings condition ensures repair costs are kept to a minimum.

Additionally, should disputes arise between yourselves and your Landlord in relation to building condition/maintenance/repair, our building surveyors may also be able to assist with seeking a satisfactory resolution, or if required, give evidence in court in cases where building regulations have been breached, and can serve as expert witnesses on building defects and dilapidations, etc.
